Carlotta is one of 3 ameraucanas I brought home today. They are going to lay minty green eggs for me, and hopefully I will eventually be able to hatch olive eggers from them.
I acquired these chickens from the president of the ameraucana breeders club!
They've had a long drive, and now I've sneakily snuck them all into the coop with the other girls for the night. So far none of the hens seem to suspect fowl play. he he.
Let's hope that tomorrow morning goes well.
